Today’s Horse Racing Tips from the Channel 4 Races

Today's horse racing tips come from the Channel 4 races and our expert racing tipster has picked out a selection in each race.

The Lockinge is the feature race today and we have free horse racing tips from seven races across the Newbury and Newmarket cards.

Today’s Horse Racing Tips – Newbury and Newmarket:

2.00 Newbury – Telescope

The Aston Stakes is a decent renewal this season and Telescope looks the best bet. Sir Micharl Stoute's gelding is used to competing in top-level races and clinched the Hardwicke Stakes at Royal Ascot last season. This five-year-old was beaten at a short price last time, however, got lonely out in front and was tired with it being his first run of the season, but. Now he's blown his winter cobwebs out, he should be a solid winner.

2.15 Newmarket – Made in Rio

Mark Johnston has been in flying form and he saddles Made In Rio. This son-of-Captain Rio scooped a number of decent pots last campaign and wasn't far behind on his seasonal debut at Chelmsford and should improve.

2.35 Newbury – Waady

Waady has been in excellent form winning his last two contest and bids to land a hat-trick. Last time out at Sandown, she won impressively and despite being raised 11 pounds for that effort, he's a horse who should go on to become a Group horse.

2.50 Newmarket – Markaz

Markaz was just four-lengths behind the classy Limato last time out and should appreciate the drop down in class. He tired in the closing stages last time out at Ascot, however, this looks an average field he should be suited to the further trip.

3.10 Newbury – Time Test

I've heard good things about Time Test for this contest who is beautifully bred being sired by Dubawai. Ryan Morre has the reigns which can only be a positive.

3.25 Newmarket – Bonnie Grey

Since winning on debut, Bonnie Grey has spent all of her time running in Class one races which suggests that connections regard her highly. However, she takes a big step down in competition and looks dangerous racing off a mark off 94 after encouraging seasonal debut at Newbury.

3.45 Newbury – Custom Cut

The Lockinge Stakes is the feature race of the day and I think that Custom Cut is a cracking each-way bet. David O'Meara's charge looks an extremely progressive sort having won five of her last six contests and showed a solid attitude when winning at Sandown in April. O'Meara has been in excellent form and should have this five-year-old in prime condition.
