Watford host Nottingham Forest at Vicarage Road in the pick of this weekend's Championship fixtures. Both teams have started the season in fine fettle and a win for either side would see them top the table.

Watford start as 11/10 favourites to win the match, Nottingham Forest can be backed at 12/5, whilst the draw is available also at 12/5. All odds quoted are available with Betfred.

Gianfranco Zola has a full squad to choose from as he attempts to steer his side to back-to-back home league victories. The Hornets did have to settle for a point away at Reading last week, although they fought back impressively from being 2-0 and 3-1 down. There have been at least three goals scored in 12 of Watford's last 13 home league games, and with a strong attack spearheaded by Troy Deeney, that trend should continue this afternoon.

Forest will travel south in confident mood having taken maximum points from their opening three league fixtures. Equally impressive, Billy Davies' side have yet to concede a league goal, although they will do well to maintain that run against free-scoring Watford.

With both managers expected to field attack-minded line-ups, this game looks to have goals written all over it. Betfred go 2/1 on over 3.5 goals which looks generous, and it is also worth having a first goalscorer bet with the same firm to take advantage of their Double Delight / Hat-trick Heaven promotion. The selection is Watford's Troy Deeney who, having netted five times already this season, can be backed at 3/1 to score the first goal. With Fred's offer, if Deeney nets first and then goes on to score two or three, then you could be paid out double or even treble the initial odds. In terms of the final result, I fancy the draw and wouldn't put anyone off taking the 12/5 on offer, although I am more tempted by the 12/1 available for the 2-2 correct score.
