1.55 Goodwood 

MAID IN RIO (7/4 William Hill) looks a likely type for connections having improved rapidly every time they have stepped her up in trip.  This demands further improvement but she is taking her racing well.  Sohar proved his stamina for this trip at Royal Ascot and, despite being higher in the handicap again, could be the main danger.

2.30 Goodwood

Not much between Scotland and SNOW SKY (7/2 SkyBet) on their run in the King Edward at the Royal meeting.  They finished in that order then but his might be a different story as the latter was probably ridden a little too aggressively in a race that favoured those held up.

3.05 Goodwood

A match on paper between Toronado and KINGMAN (4/9 bet365) with both camps likely to have their supporters.  The former won this race last year, making full use of the three-year-old allowance and has track knowledge in his favour.  The latter though has looked something special on more than one occasion and should be able to make full use of the 8lbs he receives.

Highland Reel could hardly have been more impressive when opening his account over 1m last time.  He was a little wayward in the closing stages which could be a concern on this undulating track.  AHLAN EMERATI (4/1 Coral) is likely to be a big threat having looked in need of the step-up in trip the last twice and gets the note at the prices.  Chadic is also worth a mention at a big price, he could easily have found a winnable nursery off 88 so its noteworthy that connections bring him here instead.
