As we head into Wednesday there is plenty more horse racing today, with all flat racing fixtures from Bath, Catterick and Lingfield in the afternoon, while Leicester and Sandown provide the evening fixtures.

More nice winners yesterday, including Lucy The Painter (7/1) – Our resident horse racing betting expert, Andy Newton, is on hand with today’s free horse racing tips this Wednesday (22^nd July) across the cards.

Today’s Horse Racing Tips

Bath Las Tips –

3.40 – Bath – Adham will be popular, but is not much value and might be worth taking on with Brian Meehan’s PRINCESS KODIA (Bet at /1 with Coral). The horse was a nice winner over CD two runs back and despite flopping just 4 days ago that was in the hot sales race at Newbury – she’ll find this a lot easier and we know she likes the course.

4.10 – Bath – Trainer Robert Cowell does very well at the track with this runners so his sole entry here today – THE WISPE (Bet at 9/2 with Betfred) – is interesting. The horse comes here off the back of a good second last time at Pontefract and off the same mark the handicapper has given her every chance of going one better.

Catterick Tips –

2.00 – Catterick – The boys in blue of Godolphin don’t send many runners to Catterick so their entry here – VALKO (Bet at Evs with Bet365) – should be noted. The horse improved on his debut fifth to be second last time out and the fact William Buick heads up to ride is a good sign.

4.00 – Catterick – TUMBLEWIND (Bet at 4/1 wit Skybet) has been knocking on the door of late but today could be her day. The horse is down another pound after her recent fourth at Pontefract and today’s jockey George Chaloner gets on well with the horse. Yes, it looks a tough race, but conditions look ideal and the drop back to 5f is not a problem.

Lingfield Tips –

3.20 – Lingfield – The Stoute camp too this race in 2012 and 2013, but despite looking likely to be the third best in the market their runner here – MASHKOOR APPROACH (Bet at 17/2 with Bet365) – catches the eye. The horse was an improved second last time out at Pontefract, albeit beaten 6 lengths, but we can hope that he’s come on again for that effort and could be the e/w value in a race that lacks strength in-depth.

Sandown Tips –

6.35 – Sandown – With the William Haggas horse out of the race then this looks AMERICAN ARTIST's (Bet at 6/5 with Bet365) to lose. The horse has disappointed so far, but has been well-supported both times of late and looks another good chance for William Buick on the day.

7.45– Sandown – DOCTOR BONG (Bet at 2/1 with Ladbrokes) was a nice winner last time out for the Andrew Balding team and with this being just his third career start there should be more to come. The horse won by 2 ½ lengths that day and despite this looking harder and into handicap company for the first time he’s still the one to beat for us.

Leicester Tips –

7.20 – Leicester – Kevin Ryan’s SIR DOMINO (Bet at 11/4 with William Hill) was down the field last time out, but had excuses that day and now back professionally ridden he’s the call here. Jamie Spencer rides and the fact connections return him to the scene of his only career win is a plus.

9.00 – Leicester – DONNA GRACIOSA (Bet at 3/1 with Coral) was a fair second last time, but was rather caught out by a decent front-runner that simply got away. On the same terms it’s interesting that connections turn this horse out again so quickly and the Mark Johnston team took this race in 2013.
