West Ham v Crystal Palace Betting Tips and Prediction

West Ham v Crystal Palace predictions and betting tips for Saturday’s Premier League match.

First up in this weekend's Premier League live TV schedule is West Ham United against Crystal Palace. Tune into Sky Sports at 12:45 Saturday lunchtime and here are some free football betting tips.

West Ham v Crystal Palace Preview

Probably not the most fashionable London derby in the calendar, but for West Ham this will be the second of four all-London clashes in a row. Sam Allardyce will obviously be hoping for a better result than last week where his side came oh so close to snatching all three points against an under-par Tottenham side. We're it not for a dubious penalty and a goalkeeping howler, West Ham would have been two points better off heading into this weekend.

Form wise, The Hammers are wobbling at the moment. Following an excellent start the season, Big Sam's men have only won once in their last nine league games and have also crashed out of the FA Cup. Nevertheless, the last three matches were all against teams in the top six and all of those ended in draws.

Opponents Crystal Palace have also begun to falter of late. After a terrific start to his management reign, Alan Pardew has also see his side bomb out of the FA Cup, as well as only picking up one point from his last three league games at Selhurst Park. Despite this minor slump, though, The Eagles are playing some decent football and this weekend's clash has the potential to be a far more entertaining affair from the likes of previous seasons.

Browsing the early prices and the bookies have West Ham as 11/10 favourites, with Crystal Palace on offer at 3/1. These odds are surprisingly one-sided given the form of The Hammers, and with this in mind, we shall be backing the draw outright for our first betting tip.

Bet on West Ham v Crystal Palace ending in a draw at the best odds of 5/2 at Betfred.

As previously mentioned, West Ham have drawn their last three league games and hold the joint highest ratio in the league for both teams scoring. Crystal Palace have the fifth highest ratio, and of their last eight league games, one goal is the most that has separated the two sides. With these facts in mind, back the draw outright at 5/2 with Betfred along with both teams to score at 19/20 with Ladbrokes.

Finally for a potential longshot football betting tip this weekend, and West Ham's Cheikhou Kouyate has scored and picked up the man of the match award in his last two televised league games. The Seneglese international is benefiting from playing slightly further forward than he's accustomed to and is a frequent nuisance from set-pieces.

At 14/1 with Paddy Power, back Kouyate to make it three MOTM awards on the bounce.
