In the Premier League, the likely-doomed QPR host relegation-threatened Stoke City.  And whilst there is no denying Rangers’ predicament, I fancy them to beat a Stoke side who are in free-fall and who have failed to score in their last two visits to Loftus Road.

Moving on to The Championship, in-form Bolton can make it ten wins from twelve at The Reebok Stadium as they host Middlesboro.  Despite Boro recording a decent victory away to Nottingham Forest in midweek, I cannot see them getting anything against a Bolton outfit who have the second-best home record in the division.

My third selection is also a Championship team, and it is Crystal Palace who catch the eye against Leicester.  Don’t be put-off backing The Eagles after their midweek capitulation at Ipswich as they are an altogether different side at home.  Leicester have not won in seven away matches and Palace should bounce back with a home win.
